The Club is delighted and honoured to announce.........
Parkvale Football Club have been awarded the FAI Club Mark Entry Level Award.
The FAI Club Mark is an award based on best practice in management, operations and administration of our club off the field.
The programme aims to support and encourage clubs to improve standards with the result of having Stronger Clubs and a Stronger Game.
The FAI Club Mark determines a clubs standards for a certain period of time. The onus is on the club to operate to the policies and procedures they have adopted and maintain those standards.
It is also essential that the club understands and continues to adhere to the FAI’s Child Welfare and Safeguarding Policy and the Player Development Plan.
The presentation of the award will take place in early September and we hope as many members as possible will attend the award ceremony.
Parkvale Football Club is the 23rd Club in the country to achieve this award.
This week marks an end of a journey that began 9 months ago.
A big Thank You to Declan Whelan (Project Leader), Emma Freeman (Child Health and Safety Officer) and Laura Butler (Club Secretary) for the time, hard work and effort they put in, securing this award for the Club.
